Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a for a Buyer, Merchandising for a permanent full-time position.

 

The merchandising buyer is responsible to lead, deliver and source merchandising items within project scope and budget. The merchandising buyer is also responsible to negotiate with suppliers in contract and cost while providing strong cost analysts and recommendations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE

  • Update and maintaining purchasing data in JDE, PO creation
  • Manage import/export coordination
  • Build and maintain strong partnership with third parties
  • Research and source new suppliers
  • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure best price, quality and service
  • Provide cost analysts and recommendations for all fixture replenishment or development
  • Fulfill replenishment needs by evaluating JDE reports and predict future needs
  • Fulfill yearly standard costs variance reasoning
  • Review and renew contracts
  • In collaboration with brand team, lead and coordinate artwork process from briefing, approvals, printer production to delivery
  • In collaboration with the brand team, lead and coordinate fixture process from briefing, CAD drawings, prototyping, production to delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Work closely with Category Management and Marketing to ensuring technical feasibility of launches
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Maintain accurate inventory of merchandising components
  • Evaluate suppliers on key KPI’s

 

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field required
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel and industry standard purchase order
  • Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication abilities & organizational skills
  • Bilingual in both French and English
  • Experience in ERP system

  • Able to plan, prioritize, and organize.
