Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Manager, Studio for a permanent full-time position.

 

Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, you will oversee the graphic design of Groupe Marcelle's various visuals and meet the specific needs of our four brands. You will be responsible for the overall quality of the work produced by the graphic designers. You'll keep an eye on the ground while helping to promote our brands and generate great ideas.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE

  • Lead the graphic designer and writing team in the production of all marketing materials, ensuring the quality and originality of the visuals.
  • Be the person responsible for the overall quality of the work produced by the graphic and guide all studio projects.
  • Approve the final material and ensure conformity of Groupe Marcelle brands, supervise the presentation of final concepts and obtain approvals for the delivered products.
  • Act as brand steward by setting standards and ensuring visual communication and brand standards are met.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department, control deadlines, plan and manage all stages of design projects.
  • Keep abreast of evolving trends in the field and best practices.
  • Work with external agencies, providing advice and feedback when developing new campaigns.
  • Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, editors, revisers and translators, in the strategic development of messages and deliverables.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with the creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and feasible initiatives while respecting budgets.

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • College diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in team management.
  • Strong preference for design and artistic direction.
  • Ability to define brands from the ground up, including brand guidelines, branding and design systems.
  • Experience working with designers/editors/videographers and producing work across all media (print, web, mobile, video).
  • Experience leading creative projects, both print and digital, and a process from strategy and ideation to production.
  • Hands-on experience in creative process, graphic design and studio production.
  • Experience in customer relations (an asset).
  • Minimum advanced level of proficiency in French, both oral and written.
