Based in Montreal, the Quality Control Clerk ensures quality control related to data entry, processing, and archiving within financial systems while maintaining accurate organizational information.
- Perform quality control and validate the legitimacy of suppliers, including supporting documentation.
- Oversee quality control of the accounts payable process across the organization (suppliers, purchase orders, invoices, etc.) and apply permitted corrections.
- Assist in updating the trusted suppliers list.
- Coordinate supplier database maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper application of supplier records, purchase order, and invoice nomenclature.
- Validate the correct application of quality control procedures by relevant stakeholders.
- Support the standardization of inter-location processes and optimization of methods.
- Assist in monitoring processing times (workflows).
- Provide training and support to Property Management teams regarding quality control.
- Serve as the primary person responsible for the company’s document management (distribution, scanning, filing, archiving).
Qualifications:
- Hold a college diploma in accounting.
- Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Yardi accounting systems (an asset).
