Based in Montreal and under the responsibility of the Operations Director, the property manager efficiently manages all activities related to the buildings assigned to them:

  • Manage supplier accounts, tenant billing, operating expenses related to the building, supplier invoicing, and recurring payments;
  • Handle the daily operations of the buildings;
  • Manage critical equipment and infrastructure;
  • Perform equipment maintenance and repairs;
  • Be responsible for building operations;
  • Provide excellent customer service;
  • Prepare and manage operating budgets, monthly analysis reports, and service contracts;
  • Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of systems, equipment, and buildings;
  • Establish strong tenant/manager relationships for smooth operations;
  • Be the primary point of contact for tenants to address all their requests;
  • Manage incidents, compliance with protocols and industry standards, security, and building operations technicians;
  • Provide consulting services on projects, investment planning, and budget preparation related to building operations;
  • Ensure that systems are maintained or upgraded according to industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations to prevent or quickly resolve system failures, thereby avoiding disruptions and service losses;
  • Perform any other related tasks.


Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, urban planning, or architecture, or have equivalent experience.
  • Possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience in commercial real estate management with similar responsibilities.
  • Hold one of the following certifications: CFM, FMP, or RPA.
  • Have experience working with budgets: execution and capital projects.
  • Have a good understanding of tendering processes.
  • Be able to read and understand financial statements and have basic accounting knowledge.
