Job Overview:  

As a Samples Clerk on our team you will responsible for timely preparation of samples for internal and external requests, and ensuring all samples are prepared according to sample department protocols. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the sample requests to ensure deadlines are met
• Package sample shipments according to company policies and standards
• Ensuring samples inventory stock is appropriately stored, rotated following FIFO
• The Disposal of obsolete samples inventory  
• Report obstacles to when completing Sample Request and seek appropriate assistance
• Work alongside the Shipping department to organize and manage freezer samples stock 
• Collect, prepare (repack) and label samples to be shipped to Customers, Sales, and Marketing and for internal meetings
• Ensure cooler boxes and dry ice is ordered bases on sample requests
• Review the samples log daily, up to three days in advance- make recommendations for change if necessary.
• Ensuring all administrative tasks are being completed accurately and timely fashion 
• Communicate shortages to the Sample Coordinator promptly 
• Record keeping of each item - lot number/ weight and any other “special instructions” that might be deem necessary 
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work area and freezer space
• Follow all policies as set by Give & Go

Recipe for Success: 

• 4 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Completion of high school education or equivalent
• Must be able to multitask and flexible to change
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to handle communication from multiple stakeholders
• A self starter with the ability to identify projects, solutions 
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
• Excellent organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines, with strong project management skills
