Production Team Member – Franklin, KY – starting at $22.00/hour

We seek candidates for our production department. These positions are the core of our business!

What will you do?

• Work safely and smartly, following our procedures and your training.
• Load, melt, and transfer scrap and raw materials to achieve correct product chemistry.
• Transfer and cast molten metal to meet customers’ expectations.
• Monitor and adjust saws to cut product to achieve customers’ expectations.
• Closely monitor your work, reporting material, process, and product issues so corrections or adjustments can be made.
• Collaborate with your team during the production cycle to make quality products.

What do you need to bring to the table?

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior industrial or foundry experience preferred.
• Prior experience operating mobile equipment, front end loader, forklift, and overhead crane preferred.

When will you work?

• We are a 24/7 company. Our operators work a 12-hour continental (2-2-3) schedule. You will work every other weekend and some holidays. It also means you are generally scheduled to work 15 days a month and off 15 days a month.

Where will work?

• Our production facility in Franklin, KY.
• Your day will be spent around molten metal, which reaches temperatures of 1300 ℉.
• Exposure to outside conditions year-round and ambient seasonal temperatures.
• Exposure to overhead loads and loud noises.
• Regular operation of mobile equipment.
• Frequent visual monitoring of work processes.
• Regularly climb and work on a raised platform exceeding four feet.
