We’re on the lookout for an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to set the direction for our organization’s learning and development initiatives. the day-to-day

As our L&D Manager, you’ll be charting the course for talent development across our organization. Your mission? To craft engaging learning pathways and implement training programs that drive our workforce toward excellence. Through proactive engagement with stakeholders, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and assessing our organization’s training needs. This insight will guide the design and execution of a comprehensive training calendar that aligns seamlessly with customer requirements and organizational objectives.

 

Collaborating across teams, you'll steer initiatives that empower our crew to meet both current and future opportunities while making the best use of our learning resources.

 

  • Design Genoa’s Learning Strategy: Develop a robust talent development strategy that supports company’s goals, driving growth and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Shape Learning Pathways: Guide our Learning and Development team in creating and delivering impactful learning programs that prepare our crew for future roles and succession planning.
  • Optimize the Learning Management System (LMS): Manage and enhance our LMS, blending online and hands-on training to meet the diverse needs of our crew.
  • Manage Budgets: Apply your budgeting and financial acumen to manage costs and seek out funding opportunities for learning programs that deliver a strong ROI.
  • Measure Impact: Define and track key metrics to assess the success of training initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and tangible benefits for the organization.

 

your qualifications

Experience and Expertise: 5+ years of experience in talent development or L&D, preferably in a project-driven environment, you excel at managing multiple training initiatives with strong project management skills. Your hands-on expertise with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms ensures the successful design and delivery of effective training programs.

 

Key Strengths: Exceptional communication and collaborations skills are at the heart of this role. You bring effective project management and deadline-driven focus, combined with a passion for leadership, a growth mindset, and a commitment to mentoring and continuous learning. These attributes drive your ability to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and development at every level.

 

ELIGIBILITY

This position will require security clearance, which involves a background check and personal reference verification.

    • Final Stages: A meet and greet with other members of the Human Resources and Talent Development Team to discuss collaboration and alignment.
