Informational Posting - Future Teaching Assistants/Markers

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grade student work.
  • Assist in the class, in consultation with the regular class instructor.
  • Provide support to students working on homework assignments.
  • Provide support to students in preparation for midterms and final exams
  • Consult with the instructor on academic or student related matters and undertake other duties as assigned.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Some post-secondary education is required.
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and compliance with reporting requirements.
