Position Available: Housekeeping Aide, Contract Part Time Split Shift 25 Hours per week/5 Hours per day

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Centre Supervisor the Housekeeping Aide is responsible for housekeeping duties as assigned, in order to meet the standards of cleanliness set out by Public Health Department, the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), municipal guidelines and the policies and procedures of Family Day.
Job Duties:
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and prepare orders as required
- Support with groceries and snack preparation
- Perform housekeeping duties involving sanitizing procedures as dictated by the Universal Precautions and Centre Policies.
- Perform other duties as required
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in housekeeping
- Dependable, team player with great time management skills
- Able to speak and write in English
- Social and multicultural sensitivity
- Medical required – including TB (two stages) 6 months current to hiring date
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check 6 months current to hiring date
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR, Level C
- Able to work flexible shifts
