About the Position:
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, the Sales Associate will work out of our Presentation Centers located in Toronto and the GTA. The Sales Associate plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our real estate developments by promoting and selling condominium units to prospective buyers. This position requires a dynamic individual with exceptional sales acumen, in-depth knowledge of the real estate market, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively guide clients through the purchasing process.
Hours of Work:
This position must work sales office hours, which will be five days a week (2-7pm), including weekends (12-5pm) and some evenings, to accommodate client needs and sales events. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and lead follow-up.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing agents and clients.
- Exceed sales targets and contribute to the success of project launches.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with administration and marketing teams to optimize sales efforts.
- Flexibly adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the agreements of purchase and sale and the pre-construction sales process.
- Provide exceptional service to prospective and existing buyers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Strong closing and follow-up skills via phone, email, and in-person communication is a must.
- Work well within a team environment while being accountable for individual targets.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage leads and sales processes efficiently.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the company's offerings and network with potential clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities, ensuring the company stays competitive.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and property tours to prospective buyers, showcasing the benefits of our developments.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proven sales experience in the real estate industry, preferably in pre-construction sale.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage time effectively.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with CRM software and database management systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other digital tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work long hours during project launches.
- Weekend availability is required and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings to accommodate client schedules and sales events.
- Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment, reflecting the demographic of the Toronto market.
- Proficiency in additional languages can be an asset, given the diversity of clients in the area.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address client concerns and obstacles.
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree or college diploma.
- Licensed Realtor in good standing through RECO (Real Estate Council of Ontario).
- Minimum of 5 years of real estate sales experience
