Position Title: National Sales and Distribution Coordinator – Elite Advisors
Reports To: Director, Distribution Strategy, Planning and Support
Department:
Sales and Distribution (Savings and Retirement)
Term: Permanent Full-Time


Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.


The Opportunity: Equitable is growing! We are looking for a National Sales and Distribution Coordinator to join our Savings and Retirement team! 

The National Sales and Distribution Coordinator role is responsible for managing the day-to-day Sales & Distribution deliverables of the Savings and Retirement team with our Elite Advisors and Distribution partners.

What you will be doing:

  • Ownership of Elite advisor program including onboarding, offboarding, communication, reporting, analytical review, and program administration including working with third party partners to create advisor value
  • Planning and execution of onsite support and management of various high-profile meetings and events including Elite advisor events and Elite conferences
  • Planning and execution of Elite advisor overall experience including welcome kits, offboarding kits, marketing and other allowances within the Elite advisor program
  • Accountability of budget throughout Elite advisor program including promotional material, conferences and events each year. Support of strategy for budget planning and execution. Ensuring budget is appropriately used to maximize effectiveness of meetings
  • Work with various head office teams including, Operations, Product and Digital experience to support Elite advisor experience and identify opportunities to enhance the overall experience
  • Work with Sales leaders and Directors, Investment Sales to analyse trends with Elite advisors and identify new Elite advisors in addition to Elite advisors that may be at risk of falling off
  • Work with Sales leaders to identify and analyze trends with distribution partners Elite advisor groups



What you will bring:


  • At least 3 years work experience in the financial services industry with administration, client service or marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with high end advisors and key stake holders
  • Experience in meeting management, including planning and executing budgets.
  • Knowledge of the MGA/WFG and Advisor channels and life insurance and investment lines of business.
  • Advanced Proficiency in all Microsoft office programs e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, including mail merges, spreadsheets, with the ability to easy manipulate and extract data
  • Well-developed organization and multi-tasking skills, ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and ability to create and document practical processes to increase efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and in co-ordination with others.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation skills and networking skills with various third-party partners.
