Technical Architect

This position is:

On-site - working all 5 days per week in the Office

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Designing and developing enterprise solutions to effectively meet business needs.
  • Developing new features and integrations for a variety of internal and external business platforms, including Wireline and Mobile provisioning platforms.
  • Working with clients to solve complex problems, providing options while ensuring they have the tailored solutions required to meet their objectives.
  • Guide and mentor a development team to:
    • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
    • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
    • Establish and promote best-practices for software development

 

Skills & qualifications:

 

  • 7+ years of experience as a software engineer or equivalent role.  Demonstrated ability to create software solutions.
  • 2+ years with enterprise architectures and designing large scale solutions.
  • Proficient understanding of Spring Boot, Apache Camel, Jboss EAP, HAProxy.
  • Diverse experience in API design and usage (HTTP/JSON, HTTP/XML, SOAP, REST)
  • Sound knowledge of networking and infrastructure principals and best practices
  • Experience with application containerization (Docker ideally)
  • Experience with version control systems (preferably, Git)
  • Experience working as a member of a Scrum development team
