Your Role

As a Certified Level II Dental Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating positive patient experiences and driving our practice’s success. Responsibilities include:

• Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills.
• Take intra-oral records and radiographs.
• Provide exceptional assisting skills to our clinical team.
• Perform Invisalign scans.
• Sterilization of instruments by adhering to the RCDSO infection control protocols.
• Provide oral health education to our patients and families.
• Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.

About You

• 1+ years experience as a Dental Assistant.
• 1+ years of orthodontic experience (preferred).
• Successfully completed a Level 2 Dental Assistant Certificate.
• NDAEB board exams written and must possess active status (asset)HARP certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
• Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
• Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills.
