Manager, Doctor Integration & Development
The Opportunity:
We are excited to add a collaborative Manager, Doctor Integration & Development to our growing associate doctor program team. As the operations lead of this program, you will play a critical role in creating a differentiated Associate Doctor experience that will help us successfully onboarding, clinically develop, engage, and retain top talent, with the goal of transitioning these doctors into our network as long-term partners.

This high visibility, cross-functional role has network-wide scope, providing comprehensive oversight of all operational aspects of our associate doctor initiatives and partner transitions. What You Will Love Doing - Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and steward to the annual doctor workforce planning process
- Partner with Regional Operations Managers for business case analysis and new associate doctor positions; make recommendations on go/no go for new growth roles and provide input and recommendations on timing for hiring associate doctors to support partner transitions
- Coordinate a seamless process from identifying doctor needs to initiating recruitment, and once hired oversee clinical onboarding, doctor development and partner transitions in partnership with cross-functional internal departments
- Understand the overarching framework for our associate doctor subsidy model(s) and new partner buy-in model and work closely with our Associate Recruitment, Corporate Development and Operations team for resource development and local application
- Work with existing Corus partner-doctors and associate doctors to help and plan their integration/transition into the practice
- Partner closely with Corporate Development and Associate Recruitment team to develop new and creative programs to help attract doctors (e.g., scholarship opportunities)
- Act as a support resource to Accounting and Regional Manager team and ensure associate doctor payments are on time and accurate
- Oversee operational elements of new associate doctor onboarding process and new partner transitions and integration process (e.g., developing operational onboarding plans, consulting on scheduling changes, engaging referral networks, etc.)
- Build and implement Corus' clinical acceleration program to expedite the development of new associate doctors
- Partner with Operations team to facilitate associate doctor annual learning calendar, associate doctor mentorship program, measure new doctor performance, and monitor path-to-partnership program
- Oversee annual associate doctor intensive, including managing vendors, budget and coordinating L&D sessions
- Partner with Corporate Development team to present financial models to Corus associate doctors interested in potential partnership
- Participate in Associate Doctor Steering Committee and Associate Doctor Subcommittee
- Oversee centralized associate doctor budget (e.g., forecasting Corus annual payments based on workforce plan (WFP) and practice agreements)
- Play an active role in operational learning and development initiatives, such as clinical onboarding programs, suggesting relevant Corus College topics, workshops and ideas, and contributing to key L&D projects
All About you:
- Five years of progressive experience in an operational, program or process management, or an operational learning and development role
- Three years of experience in an orthodontic, dental or similar practice is an asset
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Experience creating and holding stakeholders accountable to new systems, programs, procedures, and best practices
- Presentable, credible and reliable, to help build trust and credibility with doctors
- Have a strong ‘coach approach’ with the ability to manage high-visibility programs with multiple stakeholders, deliverables, timelines, and competing priorities
- Exceptional process ownership skills with a high degree of accountability
- Possess a growth mindset and are dedicated to inspiring a culture that promotes high-performance and organizational health
- Are relentlessly focused on the doctor experience and have an exceptional customer service mindset and interpersonal skills
- Have strong project management, program management and cross-functional partnership skills
- Are recognized as an influencer, with the ability to bring forward creative ideas to help develop and retain top talent in a competitive labor market
- Are adaptable, resilient, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy start-up event – which is fun, fast-paced and rewarding
