About the Role:
This role is a unique blend of strategic decision making, product/feature shipping, and practice development across broadcast and digital video platforms.As the Sr. PM responsible you will develop and expand advertising products that leverage advances in data science, first party data and emerging advertising targeting technologies that give Corus a competitive edge. We are looking for someone who can work with a wide array of teams including Digital Technology, Ad Operations, Research, Sales, and Engineering, to build an exciting suite of capabilities that will evolve Corus’ advertising practices.
You will contribute by:
- Create, deliver, and manage multiple products that satisfy user needs while delivering revenue and organizational efficiency.
- Develop and manage long and short-term product OKRs.
- Set principles and priorities for multiple delivery teams.
- Works with the Advertising Solutions team to construct fact-based assessments of new opportunities and features.
- Work directly with Senior executives to develop and manage a 1-3-year product roadmap that aligns with Corus investment and revenue generation goals.
- Accountable for on-time delivery and stability of products and features.
- Product progress/metric tracking and reporting.
- Complete vendor assessments, conduct buy/build assessments.
- Support internal sales teams with launch/implementation of the product.
- Conduct internal and external customer research and interviews.
Skills and experience you will bring:
- Undergraduate Degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or equivalent.
- Product Development, data science and analytics experience.
- 4+ years of relevant product development or product management experience
- Experience in the media industry.
- Google Ad Manager and advertising technology experience is an asset.
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for solving challenging business problems.
- A strong ability to influence others and communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Detail-oriented but with a keen understanding of how details fit into the ‘big picture.’
