Your sweet mission:
The Key Account Manager - Ontario is responsible for optimizing the sales and margins of the accounts under his/her responsibility and maximizing development potential, including the acquisition of new accounts. In addition, he/she is responsible for the follow-up and execution of the sales plan, participates in the development of strategies and assists the VP Sales & Marketing according to the needs of the department.
Overview of your responsibilities:
- Ensures the development of accounts by meeting and exceeding sales targets in line with strategic alignment;
- Negotiates advantageous commercial agreements and identifies the business potential of his sector (promotions, tactics, capacities), identifies optimal solutions in the event of stock shortages and follows up with the teams where necessary;
- Develops customer-specific sales and marketing strategies to ensure sales growth while optimizing customer-related investments;
- Ensures response to calls for tender, maintains KPIs, analyzes sales and market trends to identify current trends and opportunities;
- Creates and analyzes reports to highlight business opportunities with business partners, and organizes internal and external meetings to present and seize these opportunities;
- Designs clear and concise communications to customers;
- Collaborates with the VP to prepare new product quotes and price lists for customers;
- Establishes a competitive watch by constantly informing in a structured way about market trends (consumers), customers (retailers), competition (prices/ products/ promotions/ tactics);

You have:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline
Team player and collaborative spirit
Valid driver's license
Ability to use various technological systems and tools
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in major account management (experience in the agri-food industry an asset)
Knowledge of the Canadian retail market (an asset)
