This role is crucial in shaping the success of our hotel, ensuring our Front Office team delivers exceptional service while driving operational efficiency and profitability. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can inspire and develop a growing team while keeping a keen eye on business needs. Flexibility is key – evenings and weekends may be required based on business levels.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Lead and develop the Front Office team, providing training, mentorship, and ongoing coaching.
✅ Drive guest satisfaction by ensuring smooth front desk operations and resolving service issues.
✅ Implement strategies to maximize room occupancy, revenue, and overall efficiency.
✅ Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting to align with operational needs.
✅ Foster a positive, engaged team culture that aligns with Coast Hotels’ values.
✅ Monitor key performance metrics, including guest satisfaction scores and revenue goals.
✅ Perform front office agent duties when needed to support the team.
✅ Ensure compliance with safety, employment, and operational regulations.
What You Bring:
✔ 4+ years of hospitality experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
✔ A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience).
✔ Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
✔ A leadership style that inspires, motivates, and supports a high-performing team.
✔ Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
✔ Budgeting and forecasting experience to manage operational efficiency.
✔ Intermediate MS Office skills; knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
✔ Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clear abstract.
✔ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
