Role Summary

Are you a passionate storyteller with a love for capturing moments on film? Century Group is looking for a Videographer to join our team and help showcase the stories, projects, and people that make our company unique. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing & Communications, this is a perfect opportunity for someone with a knack for video creation to take their skills to the next level. Whether you've been crafting videos as a hobby or dabbling in freelance projects, we're looking for someone ready to elevate their craft and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content: Capture and edit video projects highlighting Century Group's portfolio, including construction progress, hospitality features, and community stories.

  • Collaborate creatively: Work with our marketing team to brainstorm ideas, develop storyboards, and bring concepts to life.

  • Edit like a pro: Use editing software to produce polished, professional-grade videos with narration, infographics, and animation.

  • Craft diverse styles: Deliver a mix of short-form social content and longer, story-telling driven projects for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and our websites.

  • Capture on-site moments: Travel to sites across the Lower Mainland to document events, project milestones, and key highlights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A passion for video creation with a portfolio or examples of your work (essential).

  • Experience in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

  • Strong understanding of story-telling, composition, and video production basics (lighting, sound, etc.).

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Photography or graphic design skills (an asset but not required).

  • Driver's License Class 5 (required for site travel).
