The Customer Service Agent position is a full time and permanent position from Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm. This position reports to the Operation Supervisor. The Customer Service Agent is responsible for responding to client inquiries and requests by providing information relating to the delivery of our clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls from clients/customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments as well as actions taken.
  • Entering Pick Up, trace information and packages.
  • Reviewing freight information and supply customer with information related to shipments.
  • Electronic filling supply orders for customers.
  • Performs reports
  • Data entry and various reports in Excel to clients.
  • Process information on undelivered packages and research in our internal departments and software, locate the shipment and make new arrangements with clients for the shipment of their order.
  • Other relevant duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1 year minimum Customer Service experience required or related position.
  • High School diploma
  • Courses in customer service, conflict resolution and business writing (asset).
  • Experience in transportation or logistic industry is an asset.

Competencies:

  • Articulate communicator, fluent in both verbal and written language in French/English.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionalism.
  • Conscientious with strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Computer literacy, including effective Microsoft Suite work skills (intermediate level Excel, Word, and Outlook);
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Pay: $22,50 per hour
