The Governance Services Coordinator supports CREB®’s Executive Office and Governance Services department, ensuring efficient operations, effective meetings, and adherence to governance best practices. This role provides meeting support, accurate minute-taking, and smooth administrative processes, maintaining clarity and alignment with CREB®’s governance framework.


Some key responsibilities include:

  • Organize logistics for in-person and virtual meetings, prepare agendas and materials, take accurate real-time minutes, and track post-meeting action items for boards and committees.

 

  • Support governance operations by assisting with board and committee member onboarding, maintaining governance calendars, updating rosters, and ensuring timely access to governance materials.

 

  • Facilitate executive communications, schedule high-level meetings and events, arrange travel and accommodations, and provide administrative support to board members and leadership.

 

  • Oversee expense reconciliations, process travel claims, support financial tracking, and maintain well-organized digital and physical records for governance functions.

What qualifications and skills do I need to meet your requirements?”


We like your enthusiasm already. Here’s a list of the minimum requirements to be competitive:

  • A diploma in Business Administration
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in Governance Administration
  • Experience working with Boards and/or committees
  • Previous experience working with a not-for profit association would be an asset
