Job Title: Cleaning and Maintenance Technician

Location: Based out of the Delta office 

Wage:  $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on knowledge, skills and experience)

Shift: Permanent - Full time

 

 Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm and occasional overtime/weekend 

 

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in repairs and maintenance of a variety of floor cleaning equipment! We require an individual with a general interest in mechanical and electric repairs to work in our Delta Warehouse and at our various service sites within the lower mainland. This is an opportunity to work with a growing organization that can provide employee development and leadership.

 

You Have:

  • 2 years experience with working on small engines or mechanical equipment
  • Motivation to learn and work within the maintenance industry
  • Electrical and Mechanical experience on a wide range of equipment
  • Key attention to detail
  • Forklift license is an asset
  • Valid class-5 driver’s license with clean driving record
  • The ability to lift over 51lbs equipment on an ongoing basis

 

What You Will Be Doing:

 

  • Work closely with Warehouse and Procurement Team
  • Assisting in troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of various mechanical & electrical issues on floor cleaning equipment such as:
    •  Walk Behind or Ride on Auto Scrubbers
    •  Propane/Electric Burnishers
    • Industrial Sweepers
    • Wet/Dry Vacuums
    • Carpet Extractors
    • Swing Machines
