Broadband Installation & Repair Apprentice/Technician (Swan River)

What you’ll do:

• Deliver positive customer experiences by following best practices for customer service and effectively communicating/escalating.
• Complete residential and commercial installations of broadband equipment and services.
• Analyze and find solutions for emergency repair situations.
• Repair or replace faulty drop cables.
• Replace faulty broadband electronics, coaxial, and fibre optic cables.
• Complete maintenance and repair tasks using advanced test equipment.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality control guidelines and company policies and procedures.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience is required.
• Experience and/or post secondary education in electronics/electrical wiring, Telecommunications, or a related field is considered an asset.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have no fear of heights (ladder work) and be able to carry 75 lbs.
• Must be able and willing to be on-call for emergency services as needed.
