About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support our APAC team as a Manager Franchise Performance based remotely in Seoul, South Korea. The Manager Franchise Performance provides franchisees with high level business direction, coaching and support in order to deliver a consistently great guest experience, enabling sales and profit growth. Influence franchisees to follow Subway operating procedures and brand standards. Clearly communicates aligned SMART performance goals. Encourage restaurant growth by identifying potential MUOs, then encouraging them to meet SMO MUO growth metrics. Assist franchisees in ensuring they are in compliance with their requirements under the franchise agreement e.g. remodel status, financial terms etc.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management of performance in his/her area as an MFP - By reviewing and supporting the area in accordance with Subway guidelines and Government policies, a consistent assessment should be established in the area.
- Accurately identify the site through regular/irregular store visits
- Work with the team to conduct a business analysis with a focus on improving sales and profit through operational efficiency and provide the franchisees with the corresponding guidance.
- Coaches franchisees by identifying the impact on each store's labor costs, employee retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Operational tools and equipment - Work with IPC/Team to support testing for the introduction of new products or equipment, provide feedback, encourage use, etc.
- Coaches franchisees to establish new operating procedures/policies and continuously monitors them to implement/settle.
- Regular meetings with the development team manage and support new openings, transfers, and closures of stores in the area.
- Communicate the opinions of franchisees through regular or irregular meetings with the marketing team operation team and seek effective solutions together.
- If necessary, you can conduct 1-2 lectures in the training of new franchisees.
- Complete designated training programs to develop skills. Participates in all scheduled training classes, including on-line training. Readily available to travel to training sessions and SMO team meetings in Brisbane, territory meetings and conventions. Fully understands new programs and their intended benefits in order to effectively influence franchisees.
Qualifications (some examples listed below):
- Bachelors of Degree (Preferred) in Business Management Specialization
- More than 10 years of hands-on experience in company-owned or franchisee stores operations management and training.
- Having management capabilities to analyze, sales, and profit as regional manager and leader
- Experienced person with hands-on training plan, customer complaint handling, and restaurant audit program implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated ability to identify financial opportunities and provide effective feedback
- Effectively works in an autonomous environment, is professional at all times, with all stakeholders
- Technical Proficiencies: Microsoft Office Suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Able to multi-task, prioritize workload and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
- Language requirements: Fluent in English & Korean – any additional language a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel (local & region) when required
