The Opportunity
Wolf Midstream is currently looking for a People Services (PS) Coordinator to join the People Services Team. Reporting to the Director, People Services, you will play a crucial role in our high-performing, innovative team. Working closely with the Senior PS Business Partner and Payroll Specialist, you will support key PS tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, events and employee records administration. This role requires someone who collaborates well with the team, thrives independently, is self-motivated, and takes initiative to deliver impactful PS programs from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the PS Business Partner with day-to-day tasks and strategic initiatives
- Support PS processes such as recruitment, onboarding / offboarding, orientation, pre-employment testing, benefits administration, and employee relations
- Handle employee queries and provide guidance on PS policies and procedures
- Contribute to PS projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
- Assist with company-wide training initiatives and recognition programs
- Utilize HRIS Systems and PS SharePoint to manage, update, and maintain employee records and PS related data – expertise with Dayforce is preferred
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support PS initiatives and projects
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity, performing regular audits
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Degree or diploma/certificate from a post-secondary institution or relevant years of experience in Human Resource
- Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation would be an asset
Experience:
- 2-5 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Proficient with integrated HRIS systems, Dayforce experience would be a definite asset
- Proficient with data visualization tools and software (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Knowledge of HR best practices and policies
- Experience in the energy industry, with a workforce that includes shift workers an asset
- Midstream business acumen is an asset
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
- Solid understanding of HRIS core modules (HR, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compensation, performance management, time away/time capture and schedules)
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft Office – advanced skills
- Able to work with highly confidential information
