Engineering Technologist

We are looking for a Engineering Technologist to join our organization and contribute to our culture focused on accountability, excellence, and connection. The position is responsible for providing support to the Manager of Engineering Services as part of a team that provides engineering services to the Town. The Civil Engineering Technologist performs field related inspections and assists with the review of design drawings for engineering compliance and provides support for projects. This position requires a vast knowledge and understanding of technical work related to overall engineering typically required by a growing municipality.
The right candidate will have a diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience In addition,. As travel will be required to various sites, a valid class 5 license, a vehicle and appropriate insurance is required.
