Parks, Recreation and Property Management Department has openings for:

 

TEMPORARY WORKERS

Parks & Forestry Service Area

(Temporary, Full-Time – Up to Six Months)

 CUPE Local 35
 

The City hires Temporary Workers to assist with the maintenance of parkland and recreational trails throughout St. Thomas. 

 

Duties will include completing maintenance of horticulture, turf, sports fields, park facilities, recreational trails, and any other duties as assigned.


This position requires a valid Ontario Driver’s License with a class G2.

 

THE WORK WEEK INCLUDES:

- 40 hours

- weekends, evenings and early morning schedules

- shifts covering seven days per week

 

Rate of Pay:  $17.60 per hour plus 4% vacation pay (2024 rate).
