Join our fast-paced and motivated team at Strategic Group in Calgary as a Building Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the proper maintenance of our Calgary portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum of 2 years of building maintenance proficiency with properties.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, cleaning and common area improvements.
- Maintain and enhance the customer service experience.
- Move-in and Move-out inspections.
- Respond and attend to tenant requests.
- Strong attention to detail, with good analytical skills.
- Must be able to work after hours, on-call on a rotational schedule, including weekends and respond to emergency calls.
- Have a valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.
Maintenance Skills
- Drywall repair and preparation.
- Interior painting and drywall experience.
- Basic plumbing skills.
- Basic electrical skills.
- Able to install and repair appliances.
- Able to perform snow removal, parkade clean up, garbage removal, moving and lifting appliances and similar items.
Building Operation Skills
- Experience in HVAC and Building Automation Systems, preferable but not necessary.
- General knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, pumps, closed loops system (hot water, glycol, cooling water).
- General knowledge of fire protection systems.
- General knowledge of emergency generator operations.
