What will you do?

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Compile and process monthly journal entries, including trial balances and financial reports for acquired entities.
• Conduct monthly general ledger (G/L) reconciliations and assist in quarterly reconciliation review meetings with the Corporate Controller.
• Maintain and update the ERP system (SAP), ensuring proper G/L and sub-account management.
• Collaborate with various finance teams to gather supporting documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Ensure consistency in accounting practices and adherence to internal controls and financial regulations.
• Act as a key accounting resource during month-end close and support business functions, including tax remittances and government filings.
• Assist in preparing and processing tax payments, invoices, and other financial obligations.
• Participate in special projects, including testing and implementation of new accounting software

What do you bring?

• Minimum 2-4 years accounting work experience with a CPA designation or equivalent
• Strong grasp of IFRS and other advanced accounting concepts such as IFRS 16 lease accounting, and knowledge on financial controls
• Experience with SAP and/or Blackline is preferred.
• Analytical thinker, flexible, resilient, and resourceful with a keen attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize assigned tasks.
• Motivated to deliver against immovable deadlines and within tight timelines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate identified problems and facilitate resolution
