The Director Digital Marketing & E-commerce is responsible for delivering Leads, Revenue growth and Technology enhancements across all lines of business including heating & cooling (HVAC), water heaters, water purification, plumbing, electrical, smart home and EV chargers.  We are looking for a self-starter leader with a passion to engage consumers and an ability to create initiatives that drive growth through new technologies and competitive online offerings.  The Director leads a team of 8 and owns the relationships with Website agency, SEO agency, Hosting provider, Salesforce and Lifecycle marketing agency. Collaboration with Product Management, Strategy, Marketing Communications, Call Center and Sales teams is a key aspect of the role.  The selected candidate will play a key role in transforming the company by leading the creation of a new sales channel: E-commerce.

What will you do?

  • Lead a high-performance team of 8 direct reports across Content and Organic social, SEO, Websites development and analytics, Online promotional content, E-commerce and Lifecycle marketing.
  • Create leading edge analytics and a culture of experimentation deriving insights and actions that result in improved leads conversion and Revenue.
  • Drive Growth through effective customer journeys, continuous A/B testing and relevant in the moment online promotions.
  • Launch and manage E-commerce
  • Explore the creation of an App as a new product or service
  • Be the marketing key contact in the development and launch of new CRM

What do you bring?

  • Postsecondary education in Business or Marketing and equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a marketing management capacity within a customer driven business.
  • Expertise in SEO, SEM, Digital Design, Lifecycle Marketing and Web Development
  • Understanding of digital infrastructure across Website, MarTech applications, and CRM
  • Experience managing websites designed for lead generations
  • Good balance between creative & analytics skillset.  Right brain and left-brain balance
  • Commercially oriented, digitally savvy
  • Persuasive communication skills (articulate, confident)
  • Highly analytical – A strong critical thinker and problem solver. Can translate data insights into actionable strategies that drive a direct business benefit
  • Excellent project and priorities management skills
  • Passionate, energetic and adaptable
  • Experience leading a team, driving collaboration, and influencing without authority
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, agile mindset and approach
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have(s)

  • P&L management – either owned it or has knowledge of
  • E-commerce experience
