Calypso Maintenance Operations - Attendant Tubes & Pools

Candidates must have their own transportation. There is no public transit to the park.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Calypso tubes and pool attendants keep all the rafts afloat by testing psi and patching leaks. They also keep the pools clean with regular vacuuming and cleaning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• Report to assigned work area on time and in compliance with company dress code. 
• Comply with company and departmental standards on grooming. 
• Working individually or in pairs, vacuum and clean water attractions in preparation for opening each day.
• Collect tubes set aside from attractions for being deflated. Detect leaks, patch and reinflate.
• Log tube numbers repaired
• Deliver freshly reinflated tubes back to their attractions

• Management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g. Emergencies, change in workload, rush jobs, staff levels, or technical development) arise.  

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  

• Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
• Must at least be 15 years of age or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Team player.
• Organized and detail oriented. 
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience in a bike shop or auto shop as a helper, cleaner
• Seeking 18 year olds with class-G licence to drive golf carts

  16 years old to be helper

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:   

• This position requires continuous temperature changes.   
• This position requires frequent work in extreme heat, extreme cold, dryness, or humidity.  
• This position requires occasional work in or around wetness, detergents/chemicals, mechanical hazards, moving objects, kitchen fumes/odors.
