Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift and a pallet jack in a safe and responsible manner
• Work with the Evening and Night Shift Supervisors to make sure freight is loaded on time and no freight is left behind
• Help organize loading and unloading
• Responsible for filling out BOLs before truck departures
• Ensure the facility is clear of debris throughout the shift
• Daily usage of emails and Microsoft Office tools
• Assist with scanning, sorting of packages
• Assist in setting up the floor plan daily for the next day’s sort
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment, with working knowledge of logistics, trucking and loading requirements would be an asset.
• Forklift Certification / Experience
• Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline driven environment, with a focus on safety and quality control
• Be resourceful, adaptable to change, work well under pressure
• Time management skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work up to 12 hr shifts
• Reliable transportation
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
