The Opportunity: The National Post is looking for a reporter to break news on specific areas of interest, including terrorism, foreign interference and diaspora politics. Based in Canada, there may be limited opportunity for travel. Comfort with video is an asset.
Who you are:
⦁ You have a minimum of five years of newsroom experience.
⦁ You have a strong grasp of the world’s conflict zones, the context that fuels them and their impact in Canada.
⦁ You are comfortable reporting from crisis zones.
⦁ You are able to work quickly and independently, meet multiple deadlines, and make efficient decisions.
⦁ You are able to work constructively as part of a newsroom team.
