The Role

The Talent Acquisition Advisor operates as a strategic partner to the business, work across functional teams to drive OSI’s recruiting function from the ground up driving effective recruitment practices, and is responsible for branding and selling a career at OSI to potential candidates around the world. This individual will play a critical role in the growth of OSI’s new office in Kiel, Germany

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain talent acquisition and sourcing strategies to support business needs,
  • Manages full cycle recruitment activities to attract and present a pool of qualified candidates for consideration, in a highly technical global environment. Act as Subject Matter Expert: provides guidance to the hiring team and candidates thorough the recruitment process.
  • Act as a talent ambassador and ensures a positive recruitment and onboarding experience for internal stakeholders as well as candidates.
  • Support hiring managers in determining selection criteria, preparing job postings, processing hiring approvals, posting jobs, screening resumes, interviewing applicants, conducting reference checks and/or candidate testing
  • Utilize and create multiple channels to generate a pipeline of qualified technical candidates, both active and passive and communicate with these candidates in all of OSI’s business markets.
  • Build and maintain an effective talent acquisition and Social Marketing Strategy
  • Monitor and measure recruitment results against Key Performance Indicators.
  • Actively seeks business optimization opportunities.
  • Ensures Diversity and Inclusion is embedded at each stage of the recruitment process.

You Bring

  • Diploma or certificate in HR Management or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience; recruiting in a fast-paced technology field, preferably in an international environment
  • Knowledge of German Employment Law: Solid understanding of German employment law and applicable recruiting practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Intercultural Competence: Confident in dealing with international teams and cultural sensitivity.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze recruitment data and make informed decisions.
  • Proactive Mindset: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with recruitment software and tools, as well as social media recruiting. Excellent MS Office skills especially with Word and Excel. Experience using Dayforce ATS is preferred.
  • Networking: Ability to build and maintain relationships with professionals and partners in the industry.
  • Experience recruiting in other countries, namely the UK, Taiwan, and Australia is considered an asset.
  • Required to obtain security clearance; flexibility to work occasional varying shifts for global recruitment as the company grows.
