We are seeking a Process Engineer (1 year Contract) to lead technical and project initiatives, focusing on optimizing production processes for both existing and new products while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. In this role, you will drive process improvements, reduce costs and waste, enhance productivity, and maintain product consistency. You will play a key role in implementing Lean methodologies, conducting root cause analyses, and collaborating across teams to enhance operational performance. You’re good at:

  • Leading technical and project initiatives in manufacturing and production.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Working cross-functionally to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Managing change effectively and supporting strategic planning initiatives.
  • Coaching and mentoring operational personnel.

 

What you have:

  • Post-secondary degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced MS Office and ERP system experience.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and experience in a regulated environment (an asset).
  • Proven experience in project management and change management.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
