To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.

As the Senior Solution Architect – you will play a critical role in shaping the long-term architecture and scalability of our Business Application ecosystem, including ERP (Dynamics 365), CRM, Field Services, Power Platform, IoT, AI, and other business-critical applications.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that our technology landscape is cohesive, scalable, and aligned with our business strategy. You will work closely with senior leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to design integrated solutions that optimize operations, compliance, and overall business performance. Your expertise will drive a self-reliant, future-proof architecture that supports our company’s rapid growth, complex manufacturing setup, and regulatory requirements.

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Meaningful work you will be a part of

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop & Own Enterprise Architecture – Design and maintain a holistic architecture that integrates ERP, CRM, Field Services, QMS, IoT, AI, and other Microsoft business applications.
  • Establish a Scalable & Cohesive Microsoft Ecosystem – Ensure seamless data flow, interoperability, and system architecture across Microsoft platforms, reducing silos and enhancing business efficiency.
  • Drive IoT & AI Innovation – Architect and implement IoT solutions to improve predictive maintenance, automation, , and business intelligence. Leveraging AI-driven insights for operational efficiency, automation, and business intelligence.
  • Business & IT Alignment – Partner with senior leadership, IT, and business units to align technology solutions with business objectives, ensuring a roadmap that supports both immediate needs and long-term growth.
  • Lead System Integration & Optimization – Define integration strategies for third-party applications, automation tools, IoT devices, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • Cloud & Security Strategy – Ensure optimal use of Azure services, security frameworks, identity management, and governance best practices.
  • Support ERP & Business Applications Implementation – Provide technical oversight for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP, CRM, Field Services), MasterControl (QMS), and other key applications.
  • Facilitate Self-Reliance & Internal Capability Growth – Develop internal expertise by guiding IT teams and mentoring internal technical resources.
  • System Performance & Optimization – Ensure that business applications are high-performing, reliable, and scalable, supporting business efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Considerations – Ensure that system architecture adheres to industry regulations, data security standards, and compliance mandates in our complex manufacturing environment.

 

What you bring to the team

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

  • Enterprise Architecture Expertise – Deep experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions, particularly in Microsoft business applications (D365, Power Platform, Azure, etc.).
  • Complex Industry Experience – Strong background in manufacturing, medical devices, or other highly regulated industries with complex operational and compliance needs.
  • Microsoft Cloud & Platform Knowledge – In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 (ERP & CRM), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), and security frameworks.
  • System Integration & Data Architecture – Experience in API management, data modeling, enterprise data architecture, IoT integrations, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Hands-On Leadership & Business Engagement – Ability to work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to drive technology strategy.
  • Process Improvement & Automation – Experience leveraging automation, AI/ML, and analytics to optimize business processes.
  • Technical Roadmap & Strategy Development – Proven ability to define and execute a long-term technology vision aligned with business growth.
  • Strong Communication & Influence – Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • IoT & AI Experience – Proven experience architecting and implementing IoT solutions and leveraging AI/ML technologies for process automation, predictive analytics, and operational intelligence is a plus.

Compensation

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.

  • $155,000 - $195,000 (CAD Annually)
