Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
As a valued member of the testing team, you will apply your analytical skills and knowledge of electrical systems to ensure that our next generation Globe® Pulse Field System is both safe and effective. Working closely with a collaborative and dedicated team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the development, commercialization, and ongoing support of an innovative and highly complex medical device in the rapidly changing field of electrophysiology.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:
- Designing, fabricating, and testing infrastructure used in verification and manufacturing
- Writing Matlab scripts to analyze test data
- Writing code in C# to automate routine testing with custom hardware
- Designing and prototyping PCBs
- Developing low-noise test fixtures
- Developing understanding of complex systems and associated test methodology

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:
- A strong grasp of mathematics, statistics, and analysis tools
- Experience with electrical circuit analysis, signal processing, and hands-on electrical experience
- Experience with electrical lab tools and measurement techniques
- Proficiency in MATLAB, C#, Python or other programming languages is an asset
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Positive, proactive attitude and be able to execute tasks with an appropriate level of independence
- Enthusiastic about seeking innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges
- Demonstrated success working in a team setting
