Seasonal Sales Specialist

Jealous Fruits is seeking a Seasonal Sales Specialist to join our team. Under the direction of the Sales Support Team Leader, this position will primarily focus on providing meticulous administrative support to the department. This includes but not limited to system management, understanding customer’s orders, requirements, and targets while maintaining seamless communication with our sales and support teams.

Duties and responsibilities

• Gather customer shipping and business information pre-season and internally track that information has been entered into our systems.
• Pro-actively look at the daily packing plan and see if all the information has been received before the fruit goes to pack.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating internal systems.
• Assist in placing orders in conjunction with sales and fulfillment team.  
• Ensure every order in the system is up to date, correct and valid.
• Data entry for all sales entry into our Provided Software.
• Creation of weekly pricelists.
• Maintain and update all pricelists in our Provided Software.
• Daily/Weekly price accuracy checks for existing order in the provided software.
• Ensuring all product handling charges pertaining to the order are captured correctly.
• Track all orders and alert customers to order completion and logistics schedules.
• Maintain communication with sales, logistics and fulfillment teams for all sales order changes and information needed by each department. 
• Assist the Sales and Logistics team as needed.
• Learning and efficiently updating all platforms used by the sales department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy in Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
• Meticulous data entry skills
• Strong creative and analytical skills.
• Highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Previous experience in an administration or sales management will be considered an asset.
• Must be a flexible team player who works well in a busy and demanding environment.

Working conditions

Our working environment is extremely challenging over a short period of time.  Applicants should be aware that this is a farming environment and days off may be limited during our growing and packing season. Applicants should be aware that:

• Work hours are dependent on crop maturity and weather.
• Environment varies from the main packing line (10oC), the cooler (0oC), and an office environment.
• Be always aware of working area, as machinery and pallet jacks will be in operation around you.
• Applicants must be available from mid June until early September for this seasonal position.
• The candidate must have the ability to work well with people of varying backgrounds and nationalities.
• Great teamwork environment.

Job Type: Full-time – Seasonal position

Contract Length: mid June - September

Expected Start Date: June 15-25 (Training), early July (Harvest begins)

Compensation: $19 - 21 per hour, commensurate with experience
