As a key contributor, the Customer Service Representative I is responsible for providing excellent customer service both in-person and over the telephone, answering all inquiries and referring residents to other departments when necessary. The CSR I will use good judgment to answer questions and assist with providing information to facilitate the most effective route to the source of information for the inquiry. The CSR I has a broad knowledge of staff functions, the business unit scope of work, and related forms. This is a role that requires flexibility whilst juggling competing priorities.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Warm Welcomes: Greet visitors with a smile and direct them where they need to go.
• Support Hero: Be the go-to for reception support, accounts payable, taxes, and permitting processes.
• Document Master: Ensure all procedures are well-documented for a positive and consistent customer experience.
• Info Guru: Provide valuable information about all Town services and collaborate with various departments.
• Mail Maestro: Manage the flow of incoming/outgoing mail, courier packages, and electronic mail.
• Money Handler: Process payments, balance the terminal, and prepare daily bank deposits with ease.
• Supply Savvy: Keep the office stocked and running smoothly.
Who We're Looking For:
• Experienced: At least 1 year in customer service or an office environment.
• Team Player: Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Accounting Ace: Basic accounting and cash handling skills.
• Customer Service Star: Excellent troubleshooting skills and a knack for helping others.
• Tech-Savvy: Experience with Diamond software is a plus.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and proven data entry skills.
• Patient and Persuasive: Great at conflict resolution and influencing others.
• Innovative: Keen on new technology and best practices.
• Certified: Certificate in office administration or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable: Familiar with the FOIP Act.
