Geoterra IRS is seeking qualified candidates for timber cruiser positions in the interior of British Columbia.  This is a field-based position.

 

Job Highlights

Accountabilities

  • Leading timber cruising and timber investigations.
  • Assist in cutblock, road layout and assessments.
  • Assist with the riparian and ecosystem assessments.
  • Data collection and entry.
  • Additional adhoc assistance requirements needed by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 Years experience as a timber cruiser in the British Columbia interior.
  • Working knowledge of the BC Timber Cruising Manual.
  • Valid BC Drivers License.
  • Registered Member of the ABCFP as an RPF, RFT, ATE, or ATC. 
  • Experience using Cruise Mate Application.
  • Level 1 First Aid.
