Location: College Drive Campus - North Bay, ON
Status: Temporary Full-Time Leave Replacement, 14 months with possible extension
Contract Date: February 6, 2025 to April 7, 2026 (subject to change)
Hours Per Week: 37.50 hours
Pay Rate: $28.78/hour

Qualifications:
- Two year College Diploma in Office Administration, Business, or related field or equivalent education
- Minimum three years of related administrative support work experience involving customer service and computer skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with a variety of computer software such as Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
- Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; experience providing professional support to diverse client groups
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiples tasks simultaneously
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining budgets
- Must be able to reliably commute and/or relocate to North Bay, ON required
Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential administrative support to the Director, Student Experience & Success
- Maintain the Director’s calendar including scheduled or regular meetings with divisional staff, and senior management and resolve any scheduling conflicts
- Act as the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors to the Director’s Office
- Respond to inquiries, identify contentious issues, traces/investigates information and resolve administrative problems
- Provide guidance, direction or referral of staff and students based on fully informed knowledge of Ministry and College policies and procedures, as well as strategic direction and priorities
- Monitor critical dates, and ensure the development of required documentation for various reports, internally and externally (MCU, Projects, etc.)
- Assist in the development and tracking of divisional budgets. Monitor the balance of account codes within the Director’s responsibility
- Coordinate the logistical support for a variety of meetings that the Director chairs including provincial steering committees or “Heads of” groups
- Compose, format, edit and prepare documents, all forms of correspondence (memos, reports, agendas, minutes, special project reports) both confidential and general for the Director’s review, approval and distribution as directed
- Pick up, sort, and distribute departmental mail, and perform routine photocopying and collating
- Other duties as assigned
