The following teaching needs are required for in-class delivery:

CLT 100 - First Peoples of Canada

IPS 110 - Indigenous Wellness 

IPS 210 - Identity and the Indigenous Psyche

IPS 230 - Social Justice and Indigenous Societies

IWA 203 - Methods Using Traditional Healing to Break the Cycle of Abuse

IWA 204 - Introduction to Community Development

IWA 214 - Understanding Concurrent Disorders in Indigenous Populations

IWA 216 - The Legacy of Trauma and Indigenous People

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Indigenous peoples colonization experiences within Canadian history.
• Knowledge of how Indigenous Knowledge can incorporate the principles of cultural safety across a variety of disciplines
• Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems as well as the use of remote delivery and educational technologies
• Highly effective communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Previous experience teaching in a post-secondary setting is an asset

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate effective learning related to the outlined courses
• Work closely with students and colleagues to provide a dynamic learning environment
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
