Canadore College is hiring! We are looking to fill the Leave Replacement role of Professor for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Program. This is an in-person, on-campus opportunity at the College Drive Campus in North Bay, ON.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Program develops the knowledge, skills, and leadership necessary to succeed in this relevant career field. Training is student-centered and interprofessional, and professors work with partners in the community to provide students with diverse, real-world experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD in Nursing required
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
- Minimum five (5) years recent nursing experience
- Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience, or equivalent, preferably in a postsecondary setting
- Current BCLS certifications, immunizations and mask fit required
- Simulation training and experience required
- Experience in Community and Public Health nursing is an asset
- Excellent record of teaching experience along with relevant work/community experience in the professional field or discipline appropriate to the area of instruction. Experience working with international students in a post-secondary setting is an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting
- Highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- In-person, on-campus position; must be able to reliably travel to North Bay, ON required
DUTIES:
- Teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Program
- Work closely with students and colleagues to provide a dynamic learning environment
- Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities, curriculum development, and community liaison
