BIM Modeler

We are now looking for an experienced BIM Modeler to join our Toronto team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating accurate and detailed BIM models for mechanical systems, working collaboratively with the team to ensure quality and adherence to project guidelines.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design and develop BIM models from initial concepts, engineering calculations and specifications, with a focus on innovation and precision.
- Produce high-quality 3D designs to provide and coordinate effective technical solutions.
- Develop detailed technical plans in the areas of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection ensuring their compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure strict compliance with BIM standards and the application of company-specific modeling standards, to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables.
- Work closely with the project BIM coordinator, ensuring the rigorous application of BIM processes throughout the project.
- Ensure smooth and efficient 3D coordination between the different disciplines, to optimize system integration and project performance.
Desired profile
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in design and BIM modeling related to building mechanical systems
- Excellent command of Revit software.
- Experience in modeling mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing and fire protection) in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Has excellent teamwork skills, be versatile, autonomous and have good communication skills.
- Comfortable taking instructions from engineers and adapting them into detailed 3D models.
