SUMMARY:

Our wide range of high-quality and personalized programs and services provide people from diverse backgrounds with the resources and guidance needed to achieve their goals.

The Workforce Pathways for Women in Senior Care project offers a solution that brings together key stakeholders to upskill and place immigrant & racialized women in the GTA into sustainable careers in the senior care sector. The project leverages an integrated workforce development service model to help women secure meaningful careers while meeting labour market demands & employers' talent needs for a resilient and vibrant workforce.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Facilitator and Job Coaches with recruitment, screening and outreach activities

• Assist with facilitation of workshops and assisting participants as needed

 • Gather and compile receipts for expenses; submit claims for reimbursement; and ensure the required follow-up with clients are completed

 • Work together with Job Coaches and Facilitators to ensure there is efficient communication across the team and clients

 • Maintain & update client records; provide other forms of administrative support for various team projects and deliverables

 • Provide support on Zoom meetings & training sessions, gathering attendance, helping clients with login issues etc.

 • Prepare and mail information packages to new clients • Answer phones and respond to inquiries from clients in a timely, friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner

 • Assist with administrative tasks such as tracking, submitting attendance, communicating with clients and service providers

 • Order and keep an inventory of office supplies

 • Register clients and organize client questionnaires and evaluations

 • Contribute to team cohesiveness and team building

 • Undertake other duties assigned by the Project Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess solid administrative skills and have a demonstrated ability in the use of MS office products, web browsers and online research tools and social media

 • Experience working in a customer service or direct delivery of services to the public in an administrative capacity, public relations or related role

 • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 • Knowledge of job search strategies

 • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

 • Enjoy a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong team player with the ability to prioritize and problem solve

 • Experience working with diverse cultural groups
